As I can remember, this tutorial has been posted a long time ago...Just want to open this again for new members....

First, go to your lical disc C, then program files. Pls go to yahoo folder, than open and go to messenger folder and open...you can see there a .dat file named emote_user...Right click on this and open it with a note pad or word pad...then you can see the tutorial yahoo had made....after memorizing it, you can now delete that tutorial and replace it with your own custom emotion list...example...if you you want a custom welcome back emotion you label it as Welcome Back, next is to make a room emotion, be sure to separate this with a \ sign. just like this...

Welcome Back\Welcome Back Buddy...

next is to make a user emote...put this symbol %s whever you want it..this is the name of the chat user you are emoting...example...

%s Welcome Back...it would appear as Bungkoy Welcome Back or

Welcome Back %s, Welcome Back Bungkoy will appear if you emote that user...

after making that your custom emote will look like this....

Welcome Back\Welcome Back Buddy\%s Welcome Back

then, you save it as .dat file in the same folder...save as emote_user.dat and replace the original one...

you can play with ascii text and add sniley text if you like to make it better looking as in...

Welcome Back\Adult (¯`·._.·[ Wêlcømé Bãck ]·._.·´¯) Adult\ (¯`·._.·[ Wêlcømé Bãck ]·._.·´¯) %s

just use your creativeness and imagination...just for fun guys..thanks...
